What’s a Golden Tube Heater, anyway?
Think of the Golden Tube heater as a tiny powerhouse—a halogen lamp built for one thing: industrial heating. It’s compact, intense, and all about speed. This isn’t the kind of heater that warms up a room. It’s made for machines that need heat right now, focused exactly where you need it.
The power behind it
We designed these heaters to run on 400V, pushing out 2500W from a short, 300mm tube. That voltage choice is smart—it keeps the current down, which means you can use smaller wiring and avoid voltage drop over longer runs. And that tight, 300mm length? It packs a ton of wattage into a small footprint, so you’re heating a precise spot, not the whole machine.
What it’s made of—and why it matters
The tube is quartz. That’s key. It handles sudden temperature swings without cracking, and it’s great at sending infrared heat where you want it. Inside, the halogen cycle keeps the filament stable by putting the evaporated tungsten right back where it belongs. So the output stays consistent over the life of the lamp. And the R7s base? It’s a straight-pin design that locks in solid and lines up perfectly every time. Easy to wire, easy to swap out when you need to.
Where it shines
This heater shines when you need fast, focused heat—think plastic processing, sealing, curing, and other industrial jobs where timing is everything. The concentrated heat means faster cycles, sure. But it also means your machine needs to handle the heat rejection. Plan your cooling and shielding up front, so the parts around it stay protected.
