By hooking the heater up to a smart gateway—using something like Zigbee or Matter—you can set it to wake up with you.&#xA;Instead of waiting ten minutes for a radiator to kick in, you just walk in and it&amp;rsquo;s already warm. It&amp;rsquo;s nearly instant.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;The gear you actually need&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;Under the glass, these things typically use high-wattage quartz tubes. Because they pull a lot of power, you can&amp;rsquo;t just use any old smart plug. You need a heavy-duty power relay (think 16A or 20A).
