Meet the 2500W Halogen Heating Module
Here’s the deal: we built this 2500W, 400V halogen heater for one purpose—keeping a single room toasty, right where you need it. It’s all about packing serious heat into a small space, so you get that quick, comforting warmth without wasting energy heating the whole house.
Why the power matters
This isn’t your average plug-and-go heater. The 2500W rating at 400V is a deliberate industrial choice, meaning it pulls some serious power. That’s why it needs its own dedicated circuit. The whole unit is wrapped up in a 300mm tube, so you’re getting a massive amount of heat from a very compact footprint. That’s the beauty of it. But that also means the fixture and wiring around it have to be built to handle that kind of heat, day in and day out. And no, you can’t just plug this into a standard 120V home outlet. It needs proper phase balancing to run safely.
Built to last, built to work
Inside, you’ve got a quartz envelope filled with halogen gas. This is what keeps the heating element stable, even when it’s cranking out high heat. No blackening over time, just consistent, reliable warmth. And when it comes to installation, it’s a breeze. The R7s connector is a double-ended, linear fit, designed for a tool-free swap. It locks the tube in tight and handles the high current without ever wiggling loose.
How it feels in your living room
In a living room, this thing is pure comfort. It’s a direct-contact radiant heater, which means it warms up objects and people directly. You feel the heat instantly, no waiting around for the air to slowly warm up like with those old convection heaters. Installation is as simple as slipping the tube into the R7s socket. But here’s the one thing to keep in mind: because the heat is so intense, you need to give it plenty of space. Make sure it’s mounted far enough away from anything that can burn. That’s the key to keeping everything safe and running smoothly.
